MoxMox
Moxfield has a great playtest feature — but it’s single-player. MoxMox changes that. It’s a browser extension that turns Moxfield’s playtest page into a real multiplayer game table, syncing everything you need between players in real time.
Play Commander with friends across the internet, or try DanDan with a shared library. No signup, no accounts. Just open a deck, share a code, and play.
Features
- Card gifting — give a card to an opponent (it returns to your zone when it leaves their battlefield). Theft decks rejoice!
- Show Hand — privately reveal your hand to a chosen opponent on demand.
- View Graveyard — view any other player’s graveyard whenever you want.
- Life totals — updated in real time for all players
- Hand counts — see how many cards each opponent is holding in hand at all times. No more need to constantly ask.
Two Ways to Play
Traditional Mode (Commander, 1v1, etc.)
MoxMox solves the most annoying problems of playing on video sites like Spelltable - MoxMox shows your opponents’ hand size and lets you view their graveyards and exile. You can even pass control of one of your cards to an opponent, and it’ll appear on their battlefield in the exact same state it was on yours… if it gets destroyed, it reappears in your graveyard. Need to reveal your hand to a player without showing the whole table? You can do that, too.
Shared Deck Mode (DanDan, and other shared-deck formats)
DanDan is super fun, but is really hard to play online, because of the nature of the shared deck format. MoxMox makes it easy. Start a game, share a link, and you and your opponent enter a game with shared library, graveyard, and exile, plus mirrored battlefield so you don’t even need screensharing.
Shared Library Game Features
- Split Battlefield — (optional) A dashed horizontal line marks the boundary between each player’s side of the battlefield.
A mirrored copy of your opponent’s cards appear on the battlefield above the line, just as they appear on the opponent’s screen, but upside down, as if they’re across the table from you. When you select cards, your opponent sees a blue outline on the corresponding card on their screen. When either of you move, tap, or otherwise change cards, that is reflected on the other person’s screen.
- Synced Library, Graveyard, & Exile — These zones are synced across the players. libraries in the same order. When a card is added or removed from one person’s zone, the same cars is added or removed from the other player’s zone.
